Palomar Challenge finish line in the fog at 5208 feet. This 62-mile ("Canadian Century Distance") event has a timed 12-mile, uphill time trial stage. We started at Lake Henshaw and raced up the mountain from there. Our time was 1:16:39 and were the first place (and only!) tandem! We won a pie from the Julian Pie Company!
